Powell brothers reflect on success as NX Group marks 8th anniversary with investment and expansion

NX Group is celebrating eight years in business by announcing significant investment, with the company directors taking stock while announcing future plans. Since its inception in 2010, NX Group has grown from just a handful of employees to 60 members of staff across three warehouses, and is looking to take on 20% more workers as the firm expands into the burgeoning ecommerce sector this year.

Neil Powell, Managing Director, said, “I’m very proud to have set up this business from scratch, since when I’ve seen it grow into a stable, long-lasting company which is now in a great position to expand, and we have realistic ambitions to grow further.”

The company recently acquired a fleet culminating of 27 lorries and five courier vans, and is also spending more than £40k on new racking systems, planning tools and traffic management systems.

Russell Powell, Finance Director, said: “We recently took on a number of new accounts, and we’re intent on bringing the same level of bespoke service we insist upon for our warehousing and distribution to the ecommerce sector.”
