Current Vacancies

Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting for the a CLASS 1 driver role. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this key role is responsible for conducting and taking ownership of key identified tasks, ensuring that all required standards are adhered to at all times and ensuring NX provide a reliable and courteous transportation service to customers keeping safety a top priority at all times.

Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, cleaning and operating a vehicle for delivery duties, you are responsible for transporting a wide variety of products to different locations across the UK in the most efficient and cost effective way.

Key Points:

  • Completing multi-drop deliveries.
  • Applicants should have good geographical knowledge within the UK and have full understanding of tachograph legislation, driving limits and work time directive.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 1 years Class 1 driving experience and have no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Interview process will consist of 3 parts; driving assessment, multiple choice driving theory test and face-to-face interview.

Working hours: Sunday-Thursday, 14:00 start. 9 hours guaranteed per day, 45 hours per week. Overtime accumulated on a daily basis.

Class 2 Drivers

We are recruiting for the following Class 2 driving roles:

  • x2 CLASS 2 vacancies working Monday-Friday
  • x4 CLASS 2 vacancies working Tuesday-Saturday

Reporting to the Transport Manager, this key role is responsible for conducting and taking ownership of key identified tasks, ensuring that all required standards are adhered to at all times and ensuring NX provide a reliable and courteous transportation service to customers keeping safety a top priority at all times.

Responsible for loading, unloading, preparing, cleaning and operating a vehicle for delivery duties, you are responsible for transporting a wide variety of products to different locations across the UK in the most efficient and cost effective way.

Key Points:

  • Completing multi-drop deliveries.
  • Applicants should have good geographical knowledge within the UK and have full understanding of tachograph legislation, driving limits and work time directive.
  • Applicants must be experienced in and willing to drive in London.
  • Applicants must be willing to do night outs, potentially once a fortnight.
  • Previous applicants need not apply.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 1 years Class 1/2 driving experience and have no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Interview process will consist of 3 parts; driving assessment, multiple choice driving theory test and face-to-face interview.

Working hours: 9 hours guaranteed per day, 45 hours per week. Overtime accumulated on a daily basis. Start time generally between 5am and 7am.
