All our key customers continue to show strong upward trends and are leading their respective market segments – fantastic organisations to be partnered with.
Secure, consistent, communicative, and flexible: these are the words our customers repeatedly use, and they reflect the standards we aim for every day.
The warehousing market is shifting once again, with significant space available in some quarters and rates for storage being pushed downwards – in some instances to extreme levels. It may sound enticing, but is it sustainable?
E-commerce is thriving across most sectors, and continues to be the future of retail, with convenience and speed now the primary drivers. Black Friday alone brought a 200%+ increase in orders from our customers.
Our Secure Closed Network continues to prosper, delivering a service level that few can aspire to. We’re proud of its performance and the confidence it gives us as it goes from strength to strength.
The NX Group continues to expand its offer for those “not so easy” destinations, providing secure, timed palletised freight into London, city centres, and shopping hubs with precision, compliance, full tracking, and the added service that “bricks & mortar” retailers require.
The second half of the year included a major warehouse move – actually three – for one of our key customers. Over 120 large loads were moved successfully within a couple of weeks using our secure and flexible fleet. The customer has since settled into their new premises and continues on their extraordinary growth trajectory.
Our Dutch customers, in reality more like partners, continue to thrive as we provide highly secure and efficient UK Final Mile services, with speed and accuracy being the defining qualities of our support.
Safe in Our Hands
The big news for the second half of 2025 is that The NX Group is now a full member of TAPA EMEA and now has an accredited in house auditor to Level 3. Watch out for 2026 updates on our journey through the TSR levels as we align with our TAPA A-certified X-dock and continue our substantial investment in fleet security.
Technology remains at the forefront of everything we do. This year saw significant investment in both security and technological advancements, with more developments on the way for 2026.
Our sales and marketing activities have also ramped up. We’ve begun investing more strategically in these areas and are partnering with third-party agencies to help amplify our message and reach new audiences. Much of this work is already in motion, with major campaigns set to roll out in 2026.
The NX Group Team – Our Greatest Asset
We welcomed 15 new employees across our warehouse, driver and core services teams, each of whom has already made a positive impact. We continue to support career development, with many team members completing training and development courses, including:
- 2 drivers completing Class 1 training
- 5 employees completing FLT or PPT refresher courses
- 3 employees completing full First Aider or First Aid refresher courses
- 13 employees completing Fire Marshal refresher, Fire Awareness and Fire Marshal training
- 24 drivers completing their Drivers CPC course
- 3 senior managers completing CPC training (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- 1 senior manager qualifying as a TAPA EMEA In-House Accredited Auditor
We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service, and it has been incredibly rewarding to receive so many messages of appreciation from customers who have praised our people and our work throughout the year.
In January, we’ll be hosting our first-ever internal employee awards ceremony to celebrate individuals, teams, and the outstanding commitment our colleagues have shown throughout 2025.
Making a Difference Beyond the Business
Giving back has remained an important theme this year. Alongside raising £3,000 for our nominated charity, MNDA, through the London Marathon challenge – with ambitious targets set for 2026 – we have continued supporting young people in our community. Our partnership with Northamptonshire College has provided valuable work experience opportunities, helping students gain insight into the logistics industry and build the skills they need for future careers.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Thank you to all our customers, partners, and supporters throughout 2025. This year was especially meaningful as we celebrated our 15th birthday – a milestone we’re incredibly proud of and one that motivates us to aim even higher in the years ahead. We’re excited for the opportunities 2026 will bring and remain committed to supporting our existing customers while welcoming new ones as we continue to deliver secure, reliable logistics solutions tailored to their needs.
