The team at NX are celebrating after scooping two wins at the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards earlier this month.
The NX group was named as the Gold winner in the Family Business of the Year category and Silver winner in the Daventry Business of the Year category.
Showcasing Business Excellence
The logistics industry has suffered from a number of challenges in the last few years such as rising transport costs and a shortage of HGV drivers, which has seen the industry become particularly uncertain at times. Research revealed that three quarters of logistics operators felt business conditions were more difficult in 2023 than the previous year. While a number of local and national logistics/transport businesses have succumbed to these challenges, at NX we have weathered the storm and gone from strength to strength, increasing our turnover by 24%.

Celebrating Local Enterprise
This is the seventh year of the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards, who aim to raise the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising SME’s locally. The awards are made up of 22 categories that allow successful local businesses across the UK to enter these prestigious awards. All entries are judged by up to four local judges.
Members of the NX team attended the Grand Celebration black tie evening, held at the Mercure Hotel Daventry, where the winners were announced and the awards were presented.
Russell continued, “These awards are a well-deserved recognition and a testament to our dedicated and hardworking team.”
