We have recently secured a deal to deliver a full, integrated supply chain of services to an internationally-distributing organic hay fever products manufacturer. The deal was secured thanks in part to our considerable knowledge of the health, wellbeing and beauty products sectors.
HayMax is a drug-free, natural and certified organic range of allergen barrier balm products aimed at preventing allergens such as pollen from entering the body. The Bedfordshire-based company began trading in 2005, since which time it has been pioneering organic products in the medical world in line with its principles of buying locally, maintaining ecologically sustainable practices and trading ethically. Following a decision to outsource its stock management and distribution, HayMax began working with us last month across our warehousing, ecommerce, international shipments and retail distribution services.
As well as being available to the 13 million people across the UK affected by hay fever, HayMax also distributes via our firm to Spain, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Malta and Romania, as well as further afield to Mexico, Australia and the USA. The full range of HayMax products is stocked at our secure warehouse in Crick, out of which base the products are delivered – always by us – to Boots, Morrisons, Holland & Barratt and Ocado, as well as to independent pharmacists and health stores.
Max Wiseberg, Managing Director of HayMax, said: “Of the several companies we considered outsourcing to, we chose to work with The NX Group as we found them fairly priced and cost-effective, as well as close to us geographically.
“Our decision to opt for The NX Group was also due to their established knowledge of the beauty and wellbeing sector and its retail markets, as this gives us extra assurance that our UK-wide and international shipments will be packaged, handled and delivered safely.
“Outsourcing the handling and distribution of our stock was at first a daunting prospect, but The NX Group has been nothing short of excellent. They have taken care to gain a thorough understanding of our business and products, which gives us confidence that our goods are in the best hands.”
Chris Kelly, Director of HayMax, added: “Aliona is our main contact at The NX Group and we have found her to be on the ball and efficient. She has also taken the time to get to the bottom of any potential issues straight away.”
Our Commercial Manager Mark Moody said: “Following a positive start, we are greatly looking forward to building our working relationship with HayMax. With summer on the approach, we are keen to ensure that each stage of the supply chain runs as smoothly as possible for HayMax as they enter their peak demand season.”
